About Project

Model and Artist Recruitment Platform
Load Management connects models, performers, and creative artists with talent recruiters through a structured digital marketplace. The platform allows recruiters to discover talent portfolios, review experience credentials, and initiate hiring workflows. Artists gain increased exposure and access to professional opportunities while recruiters benefit from streamlined talent sourcing. By digitizing recruitment workflows, Load Management improves efficiency in talent discovery and hiring coordination across creative industries while helping professionals showcase their work to relevant hiring partners.
Impact
  • 14,000 artists with structured profiles in the first year.
  • Time to shortlist from 9 days to under 4 hours for a booking brief.
  • 6,800 bookings made through the platform.
  • Artist earnings up 34% on average, largely from reaching bookers outside their existing network.
  • Payment released within 48 hours of performance, replacing 30 to 60 day terms.
  • Built in 6 weeks.

Challenge & Solution

Challenge

Talent recruiters relied on fragmented sourcing methods and artists struggled to gain visibility among professional hiring opportunities.

Solution

We built a talent marketplace that centralizes artist portfolios and recruitment workflows, enabling recruiters to discover qualified talent while helping artists access professional opportunities more efficiently.

Story / Origin

Booking talent runs on personal networks. A booker calls the agents they know, who offer the artists they represent, and the result is a shortlist shaped by relationships rather than by fit. Everyone in the chain knows this and nobody had a practical alternative.

For artists outside those networks the effect is close to invisibility. Genuinely good performers with no representation had no route to professional bookings at all, and were competing on Instagram DMs and Facebook groups against people doing the same thing.

The client had worked as a booker and described the search process as nine days of asking people who they knew. Not because the tools were bad, but because there were no tools. The information about who is available, at what fee, with what technical requirements, existed only inside individual heads.

End Results

The payment terms change is what artists talk about. Moving from waiting a month or two to being paid within 48 hours has a bigger effect on a working performer's life than the additional bookings do.

For bookers, the four-hour shortlist replaced nine days of calls, and the shortlists are demonstrably more varied. Roughly half of confirmed bookings now go to artists the booker had not previously heard of.

Features Buit

Artist profiles structured for booking decisions: genre and style, performance format, technical requirements, travel radius, fee range and availability calendar, with audio, video and past bookings attached.

Search runs on those structured fields, so a booker filters on the constraints that actually determine feasibility rather than browsing.

Briefs can be posted for artists to respond to, which surfaces performers a booker would never have found by searching.

Contracting is in-platform with fee, rider, cancellation terms and technical requirements agreed before confirmation. Payment holds on booking and releases shortly after performance, which is the single largest change for artists. Both sides review after the event, and repeat booking is one click from a past engagement.
