Challenge & Solution

Challenge

Customers purchasing supplements often lacked structured guidance on usage programs, reducing trust and long term engagement with wellness brands.

Solution

We built an ecommerce and consultation platform that combines supplement education with structured purchasing experiences, improving customer confidence and strengthening long term engagement with the brand.

Story / Origin

The client sold wellness supplements and had a retention problem that looked like a marketing problem and was not. People bought once, took the product inconsistently for a fortnight, felt nothing definitive, and did not reorder.

The gap was guidance. A bottle arrives with a label, and the customer is left to work out timing, stacking with other products, what to expect and when, and whether the thing they are feeling in week three is the product or the weather. Most people simply drift off.

The client had been trying to fix it with email sequences, which reached everyone with the same content on the same schedule regardless of what they had bought or how they were doing. What they wanted was for the product to come with a programme attached, so that buying it meant starting something rather than receiving something.

End Results

Repeat purchase moving from 23% to 61% is the entire business case, and it came from customers being able to see an effect rather than from any change to the product itself.

The adherence data has since fed back into formulation and programme design, which was an unplanned benefit. The company now knows which products people actually finish.

Features Buit

Guided programmes attached to products, covering dosage, timing, expected milestones and what to do if a dose is missed, sequenced across the weeks the product is designed to work over.

Intake captures goals, current regimen and relevant history, and the programme adjusts to it rather than being identical for everyone.

Progress logging is deliberately light, a few taps against defined markers, since anything heavier does not get done past week two. Charts show change over the programme, which is what makes an effect visible that a customer would otherwise not notice.

Reminders adapt to actual logging behaviour rather than firing on a fixed schedule. Reorder timing is calculated from real consumption. An education library sits behind each programme, and a stacking checker flags interactions between products.
